What an imagination! What style and depth!

I just loved The Blind Assassin - so many inter-woven strands. It was rumoured a while back that this book was being written up as a screenplay for a film :x this must never happen, imo. Never, ever.

The Handmaid's Tale. I like. One of the most interesting feminist books ever told. I do think that Attwood has an annoying tendency to leave loose ends though.

Having said that, she has written some right duffers too - Alias Grace (c***) and Resurfacing - even worse.
Indeed I never shall be satisfied with Romeo
Till I behold him - dead -
