I am routinely posting news of the interviews on the UPDATE OF THE ROGATORY LETTERS AND RELATED INTERVIEWS thread, starting roughly here:

Seems Pinkie is now spokesman for the PJ. Why weren't we told? This state of affairs is both ludicrous and unhelpful. Seriously, folks, if his source doesn't even know that Rebelo went back as planned on the 11th., how can we trust the rest of what he says? IMO he's been told from on high to sound a bit more reasonable after the mess he made earlier this week, but still can't resist that little dig.

Agreed...and hedging his bets

We are hoping that they will do the decent thing, realising that the friends told essentially the same story they told last summer, and eliminate Kate and Gerry from the case."

But Mr Mitchell said he believed there was only the "slimmest of slim chances" that this would happen today.

"(Today) is technically possible for the lifting of judicial secrecy, but it's unlikely. We think it will run through to the summer," he said.
