A warm welcome to all the posters from the original GLOSSARY OF THE MADELINE McCANN CASE and any new posters.

Note: I have completed the testing of albym's photos in the GLOSSARY above. I hope that you will enjoy the results, as much as I did posting them! A couple or so collages will be updated next week to reflect some minor revisions, but your feedback on this new feature is welcomed. Please also continue to post your additions for the GLOSSARY.

Again my appreciation to albym for all of his hard work on this project - HawkEyes1

You're welcome, Demeter. I am glad you have enjoyed looking at the new Mark II version of the GLOSSARY OF THE MADELEINE McCANN CASE. The first glossary served its purpose well, as you can see from comments at:

But it was time to expand into its new, more flexible format, with room to grow, since in recent days I have been continuously hitting the 60,000-character maximum mark for a post. This time, there really is oodles of expansion space, so if you have any suggestions for new words, please let me know.

By the way, congratulations on being the first to post on the new thread, Demeter!

A lot of common words were omitted in the original GLOSSARY because of the 60,000-word limitation. Now that I have more space, it is catch-up time!

Many thanks for your suggestion, McVera. I have gone ahead and have added Fridge with a cross-reference from Refrigerator.

weissnicht coined the phrase:
Mountain of Sovereigns Blanc = Montana Sauvignon Blanc - The McCanns' favourite wine (from New Zealand, and claimed to have been bought from Baptista in PDL, but when we checked, they said they don't have it in stock. Perhaps the McCanns bought it all :!: )
It made I laugh :!:

"..the twins were still asleep in their two cots and there was the small, bright pink wool blanket that Madeleine likes to hold when she sleeps."
