Please discuss your favourite car here.
To my critics
When I'm in a sober mood, I worry, work and think,
When I'm in a drunken mood, I gamble, play and drink,
But when my moods are over and my time has come to pass,
I hope I'm buried upside down, so the world may kiss my ar*e

Well it is not my favourite car, but somebody gave me a Robin Reliant once, but it suffered in the Hurricane of 1987. The hurricane was so bad it tossed my little Robin Reliant and smashed it into pieces. Actually to be honest it was quite a fast little three wheeler but after the hurricane it was no longer more. :( :(

Thank you bjr

Maybe this should be named my favorite cars :!:
My very first car I had was chervolet Malibu 72 two doors with hard top. V8 engine.
The car and I were as one. I did not need friends as I had the car. I drove and drove listening to the musik that he engine made.
Just me and my car :love9: I was very young when I had it and all my money were spent on petrol
Not surprising as I lived in Iceland and perol is very expansive over here. I did not know of any young girl having a car like that at the time.
Every guy that stop be side my on a red light wanted to race me. I only did it once and it was an older man that had been behaving very silly at the lights. He did not realise what kind of a horse power I had so on green I left him in his tracks but being curteous I slowed down to let him catch up to see if he had learned from this and would waive me good by  but instead he showed me his fist  So I left him again in his tracks on the next traficklights. He was furius and I was only a little bit ashamed of my bad behaviour. But boy did it feel good

So sorry bjr to hear about your little Robin:cry:
The first time I saw them was in England in 1986.
I never drove one but would have love to give it a try.
Where you allowed to take it onto the motorway ?

A black 1800 Vauxhall Cavalier with dark tinted windows. Looked like the Mafia staff car and sounded like a Maserati. Ate up petrol.
Unfortunately a car thief rather liked the look of her as well and pinched her.

My favourite car was my Toyota Carina E, I loved it but couldn't take it to Africa with me. It was sold to the son of a friend and he still has it, it has only ever needed routine maintenance, it still looks good.

In Africa we had a Toyota Surf long wheelbase, I hated it, I'm only small and it was like driving a double decker, so almost always got someone else to drive me wherever I was going.

I had a bright yellow beach buggy. It was great fun in dry weather but not so good when it was wet. There were two reasons for this – the first is that the roof leaked. The second is that it would aquaplane very easily – I think it was a combination of the big, wide wheels and the light bodywork. Anyway, it needed a very gentle touch in wet weather!

My Favorite car was the first car I bought in NZ a ford telster other wise known as the mazda 626 with a v6 but only 1800 cc, one day while my wife and I were out travelling the country i had to pass a large articulated truck going up hill using the short passing lane I put my foot to the floor to accelerate and could not believe the power I went from 80kmph an hour to 130kmph very very quickly andpast the truck before I knew it.

Another time I did somthing similar but on the freeway north of Auckland, I ended up with the cops giving me a ticket for $300 dollars and 5 points on my driving licence, my first speeding ticket, but not my last, the speed limit hear is only 100kmph or to the brits 63mph :D
I am still asking, what have you done with your child?

So that's where my Cavalier went :!:

My favourite car that I've owned was a Mitsubishi FTO. (Tiptronic, I added an induction kit to make it sound fast  ).

My dream car is a Bugatti Veyron, although I would settle for an Aston Martin DB9.

My very first car was a Ford Capri Laser. It was the last of that type that I could buy new. I planned on keeping it for many years but sadly it was stolen and found wrapped around a lamp post. I loved that car. I have had a few different cars since then but haven't had the same affinity with them until now - an MX5 Arctic - love it.
