Intelligent design / creationism...What's this?

Kenneth R. Miller (born 1948) is a biology professor at Brown University.

Miller has proudly voiced his support for what he calls "pro-science" candidates in politics. He has actively campaigned for school board and education candidates who support the teaching of evolution in Kansas and Ohio. In the science community, he has sought to elevate the understanding of scientists of the roots of the creationist movement, and to encourage the popularization of scientific concepts.

Ken Miller's talk on Intelligent Design at Case Western University. Ken Miller basically rips Intelligent Design apart in a 2 hour long expos├® of the claims of intelligent design and the tactics that creationists employ to get it shoehorned into the American school system.

Well, as an American, I can tell you when I was in public schools -state funded, free schools- they were absolutely forbidden to discuss religion in anything other than an education sense, and they were forbidden to pray or make the kids pray. Separation of church and state. Schools were and are getting sued for trying to infringe on people's Constitutional right of separation of church and state.
Creationism is only allowed in private schools. I can assure you.
Creationists may want that concept in public schools, but as long as it breaks the law, it won't be legal for creationism to be there.
"Those who desire to give up freedom in order to gain security will not have, nor do they deserve, either one." - Benjamin Franklin
