Nero was the antichrist they spoke of in the book and he's long dead, so there.

Best book I ever read about the subject of false wonders etc was "The Two Babylons", by the Reverend Hislop.

Excellent book. I'm not getting at any Catholics. It is just a book which shows how Catholicism latched on to a lot of pagan beliefs. And is one reason why I, as a Protestant, am very wary of wonders.

As Jesus himself said, (Mat 24:24) For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

(2 Tim 4:3) For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear

something to think about

"The belief in God is not therefore based on the perception of design in nature. Belief in design in nature is based upon the belief in God. Things are as they are whether there is a God or not. Logically, to believe in design one must start with God. He, or it, is not a conclusion but a datum. You may begin by assuming a creator, and then say he did this or that; but you cannot logically say that because certain things exist, therefore there is a God who made them. God is an assumption, not a conclusion. And it is an assumption that explains nothing".

If Nero was the antichrist, we missed the news about the second coming of Christ which purpose is to defeat antichrist. Better change my news channel. Not reliable.

It does describe a statue from a dream in the bible. That statue is supposed to stand until our days and because it has feet of iron and clay which don't mix too good, the feet of the statue will break. The prophecies could not of happened before because what goes along with it was not in place yet, such as the chinese army, king of the east, having an army of 200 million men which they announced in 2004. We don't choose where or what we are born into. Noones fault they are raised where they were. Our fault if we don't verify it. We deal with it from where we are and that is to hope and pray that Jesus Christ intervenes. Regarding a rapture, the dead in Christ rise first, the tares ( which is the bad people) gets picked up second and dropped off in the valley of Megiddo for armagedon. All nations of the earth against God. then the left behind are the people of God. Third to be picked up. as on the wings of a great eagle. To make battle against Satan.God always got rid of the enemy, never took His people out of any tribulations but was always there with His people to make sure they would make it through.the rapture is at the end. Jesus said the good and the bad grow together until the end. Determine when the end is. After all these things have happened, then the end will come.

Wake up call people.
