Timothy Masters - Crime & Investigation channel

The channel was screening last night this program on timothy masters, a man who was 15 at the time was accused of murdering a woman, he spotted the body but carried onto school.
years later they convicted him on pictures he drew when he was 15, they were pretty much pictures what you expect of some emo or gothic kid anyway the program went on to discuss his successful conviction on no material evidence and on these doodles alone.

I just thought then I would have a look on the wiki

Then noticed he was cleared last month!

The Peggy Hettrick Murder Case concerns the unsolved 1987 death of Peggy Hettrick in Fort Collins, Colorado. Timothy Masters was charged and convicted of the crime in 1999, and sentenced to life imprisonment without parole. His sentence was vacated in 2008. Masters may become the first convict in Colorado to be exonerated due to DNA evidence.[1]. Currently nobody is charged with the crime.

So would that amount misrepresentation now on the media for allowing that documentary to show "factual" stuff but omit the fact he was cleared?

weirder than ripleys
