It is important that our research and opinions find a wide audience.

Thank you for the update

All is much appreciated.

But please - tell us if there is anything we can do as individuals to help.

For example, NOT to stay logged in ? if we are not reading or using the forum.

When I see the number of members we now have[and I know they are not all active] I think what if everyone gave £1....?

I see no problem in having everyone register. We know there are people out there whose main purpose is to shut down any forum on this topic. And they've been quite successful. No one should have a problem with registering.

As far as getting the message out, I am all for that. However, I think the best way is for the people to use the internet to organize a grassroots campaign and then go out into the real world, as some have already done (via leaflets, protests, banners, snail mail letters, etc.).

Great work nbrado and bjr and your helpers!

it isnt.

from what one can read on the front page, Alsabelle herself decided to pull the site, for no other reason than she found debate on BOTH SIDES of the argument had become unsavoury

some have since tried to spin this as a planned attack, but until i hear it from the horse's mouth i won't beleive it

too much disinformation around at the mo'

as I have already said in another thread.

over 600 people signed up in the first 24 hours since the change.

thats 300 more than the guests you currently saw.

The charts myside show a green line climbing. we are reaching the audience and continue to do so.
Server upgrades do not happen over night and no amount of urging will put us in a situation of overload.

this allows us time to analyse and take scaling steps without the downtime.

We will continue to use the funds to the best ablity to provide a service that is affordable and has longtivity.

I'm curious probablynot how much is enough funds in your book?
you dont see us wasting 80 grand on poster campaigns.

I get the feeling you just don't like the idea of a collective funding and driving their own platform.

1157 new members in the last 48 hours. Now 3600 members precisely.

Let's hope that former lurkers will be encouraged to comment now they are able to do so because more relevant input from all quarters is surely to be welcomed.
