Postby Magali » Sat Feb 02, 2008 6:41 pm

...Simple!

You can use your "Img" button which is beside B i u Quote ,Code ,List...while your doing your posts, paste your photo-link into it, or, second method:

Find your pic,for example in an article,or a blog.

Copy link location.

Paste it onto your post and, just add,

[img] in front of your link,

and

[/img] at the end of the link,no spaces....YES it works!!!

here's hoping, case solved!!!

Example:

link:
http://s274.photobucket.com/albums/jj27 ... lfrnds.jpg

Now I add:
before the link,

and
[/img]
at the end,result:

Image

Et ...Voila!!!XXXXXXXXX :albino: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

PS. If you upload several pics, always check their compatibility of size by previewing.

Actually I've eventually found out the Photo button,Hooray! :rabbit: :tard: :happy3: :booty: :cyclops: :fucyc: =ME!

For similar nut cases,it's the grey mini-option-window that is above the post in making, next to B i u Quote etc : Img

Click it before you paste your photo-link.

BUT my :sign7: -ness is still limited in knowledge and lack of good practice:I STILL cannot make my way round some pics,a red message comes at the top saying, the dimensions cannot be specified or so.

TIP: IT works OK from Photobucket, this is where Perrito was meaning, double DOHHH to me then, soz Perrito but you had taken shortcuts, don't forget we are NEW newts here dear!

See ya people around.TC!

Click the "Img" button. The cursor should be between ""

Right click. Select "Paste".

I have no idea what is meant by the above.

I right-clicked on properties, copied the url and pasted and typed the '' at the beginning and end. I see you just need to find the correct button in the posting box to avoid the typing bit.

Was it too large? You must put the image url between the two imgs

URL= Unreliable link! :D

Tripz ... thanks for responding. Don't know what you mean by 'was it too large'. I worked out the photobucket route, but sometimes there are pictures on the web that we may want to include in a post and to avoid going via the photobucket route, this is a more direct route.

But, these pictures are sometimes very big. What is the best way to reduce the size of the pictures.

Another thing I experienced, when I copy a post with links, the links don't always work. Do you have any idea why?
