Hi Tripz,

Thanks for these links which look very useful. I suffered from IBS for about 15 years, with drs trying all kinds of treatments including tranquillisers and other drugs such as Colofac, none of which worked. Eventually I tried hypnotherapy. I had 3 sessions and "whoosh"! the IBS was gone! In the almost 6 years since the hypnotherapy (£37 per session, bargain!) I've had NO recurrence of any of the symptoms and I've had various other benefits from the sessions too. For example I've been told I seem much calmer and happier.

So when the drs say there's no cure for IBS - they're wrong. Hypnotherapy can be helpful.

Listen very carefully, I will say this only once: LEAVING SMALL CHILDREN ALONE TO FEND FOR THEMSELVES IS UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOUR!!
