Zeeuws Mussels or Mosselen

finely chop 2 onions, 3 cloves garlic, one carrott, a bunch of flat leaf parsely,

saute to glaze in butter add a small bottle of white fruity wine, salt and pepper

add fresh, soaked and rinsed Mussels, It must be a huge pot, with a lid!

Close lid and steam, shake 3 or 4 times till they open, stir a bit...

it's ala minute, 6-8 minutes for 2 Kgs. ( reckon 1/2 a kilo per person )

Add warm french bread, butter, salad and friends...

Bon apetito!
