Please say a prayer for Kerstin Fritzl tonight....

If you have problems then perhaps one of the members might have a suggestion or tell you how they coped with a certain situation. Also we could post links for all children that are missing and need to be found. All aspects of child welfare discussed here, new and old cases. Children that have been let down by Social Services and the authorities.

Please say a prayer for Kerstin Fritzl tonight....

I'm not a religious person, although I have lit a candle for Madeleine tonight.

I've just been reading the sad news that Kerstin Fritzl, the young girl from Austria is hours from death due to multiple organ failure.

If anyone deserves to live - it's this young woman who, in the most vile evil manner has had her youth and life cruelly taken from her.

Sometimes I think there's no justice in this world, no justice at all.

What kind of world are we living in when animals can commit these terrible acts.

I feel so, so very sad tonight.

In mine too, and also her mother Elisabeth, free at last but probably about to lose her eldest daughter.

I was listening to Thought For The Day on the way to work this morning. The speaker talked about a Biblical reference to, "The mystery of evil," how a person can become so evil that they are a parody of a human being. I thought then about Michel Fourniret, killer of young women and girls and of Kerstin's father/grandfather, truly both these evil men have become a parody of human.

Kerstin has had no real life and now is hours from death. Such sad stories and such evil in the world.

I will remember Kirsten tonight as I pray for Madeleine to be found and laid to rest.

Yes, the saddest thing in this terribly sad business. I really hope she makes it, she deserves to live and find some happiness in her freedom.

This poor girl never even saw daylight. She never smelled grass or sea or felt the sun/wind/rain on her face. None of the beautiful things this world has to offer. I read they had a TV how cruel is that. To let them see what they are missing on a daily basis. How did they survive mentally. My thoughts and prayers are with them all. I also feel very very sad tonight.

Well i guess they survived only due to a TV. Imagine living 24 years without it in a hole.
