Sadly we lost her at 8 years old.

To my critics
When I'm in a sober mood, I worry, work and think,
When I'm in a drunken mood, I gamble, play and drink,
But when my moods are over and my time has come to pass,
I hope I'm buried upside down, so the world may kiss my ar*e

How pretty!!! When I was 3, my parents rescued a St. Bernard named Ellie. She had some major eye infections and a big abcess on her paw. I can remember sitting in the floor with my daddy while he was soaking her paw in a bowl of salt water and my mom would doctor her eyes and clean them every night. She finally got healthy and lived to be pretty old (11 if I remember right), which is old for one of the giant breeds. LOL!!! I remember when we first got her and I was so little and short that I couldn't see over her back. I could sit on her back and ride her like a horse!!

Absolutely gorgeous, beautiful dogs. I remember one called William, owned by an elderly couple, present from their son, trouble was they couldn't handle him. Oh the times we rescued the old man who was tied to a tree by the lead and William walking round and round

What a beautiful Saint. I grew up with them and had a Newfoundland who died a few years ago. Really the nicest tempered dogs I know.

Beautiful bjr. :D

It is a sad fact that the giant breeds have such a short life span. :(
