How to Stop Unwanted PM's

Postby bjr » Wed Mar 19, 2008 11:18 pm

If any members get PM's from members that they don't want to receive PM's from here is the instructions of how not to receive them.

1. Go to User control Panel

2. Click on Friends or Foes

3. Click on Manage Foes

4. In the white box add the username and click submit on Private Messages

5. Click on Rules, Folders and settings

5. The name will appear in the foes list.

6. Still in the User Control Panel click on Rules Folders and Settings.

7. In the Add New Rule box select what you want to do, select if sender and click next

8. In the next box highlight is foe and click submit

9. In the next box select your preferred option (i.e. delete message) and click Add Rule

10. Once you have done this the next screen says rule added successfully and then returns you to your Rules, Folders and Settings screen, where it will be listed under Defined Rules.

11. Once you have done this, if a foe sends you a message and it is set to delete it will show up as 1 new message but will tell you when you click on New Messages a message was received and deleted.
To my critics
When I'm in a sober mood, I worry, work and think,
When I'm in a drunken mood, I gamble, play and drink,
But when my moods are over and my time has come to pass,
I hope I'm buried upside down, so the world may kiss my ar*e

It means either their inbox is full or they are not online, if they are online once they clear some messages from their inbox it will be sent and show up in your sent box. If it is because they are not online and their inbox is not full, once they log on it will be sent then.

Sorry, I don't know where to ask this question, so I just posted it here.
I have the 3Arguidos bookmarked, but when I tried to open it today I got this message instead : gOOns.net
rooted this xxxx
Anonymous ******* owns you
Mudkipz, yeah they're ******* real

I saved the message (it's a full page in black and red), but I can't seem to copy it. (I'll have to ask someone later who knows more about computers than I do :) )
Am I the only one who received this?
Thanks!

Edited to say : The credits mention 'Encyclopedia Dramatica'

Hiya,

Haven't a clue what it is, but it comes up on Truth M'luds forum (http:// xxxxxxxxxxx-t41.html) when you try to view anything on the off topic page.

All I can think is that it is truth mischief making again. I noticed some rude words in it as well.

Thanks, Julygirl! I have -very foolishly, I know- registered on Truth M'Lud site a couple of weeks ago when 3Arguidos was down. (Never posted there though). Very silly if it is one of his 'jokes'. Well, it doesn't matter, just wanted to ask you guys about it. Thanks for answering!

Funny thing is, it doesn't appear to be there anymore. But you and I both know what we saw, and it wasn't pleasant.

Also. I tried to sign in to truths forum today, (out of curiosity to see what he was up to), and it wouldn't let me. so I guess truth probably knows who we are and has blocked us.

You're right, now it's gone. I had saved it on a file, and now it's my own 3A bookmark again. I guess you're right, it must have been him. Silly person, don't you think? :D
