Re: 542 guests

Fishie, it's just a setting on the board software. The calculations are done internally and represent activity over the past x number of minutes. You can always see the number of minutes displayed. It used to show 5 or 10 mins, not sure which we used to have here (5 is the board software default). T...

Re: 542 guests

There is no huge increase in numbers at all. Nbrado explained in an earlier thread that he has changed the setting so that instead of reporting the number of active posters in the past 5 or 10 minutes (the most usual settings for a forum to use) and which have been used in the past here on 3Arguidos...

Re: British Media are REALLY REALLY stupid!

Thanks, StinkySardine. Not that I wish to defend the British press, particularly on this occasion, but this might have been hard for them to find, with no mention of a name, just a date and number of messages etc.

Re: Diário de Notícias - 27/5/2008

Thanks, Luz. You may be right. Don't like the sound of what it says in the Lusa extract at all.

Re: McCanns back new tracing scheme

Ironside, thanks for that article you posted. Can you add where it comes from and when?

Edited to add that I found the where - from the 'official' website, but do you know how long it's been up there?

Re: Sunday Paper/ BBC news 24

Sounds like a replay of the old Express article from Nov 25th - now deleted of course. Old link: http://www.dailyexpress.co.uk/posts/view/26278 Madeleine: Nanny names Murat as 'Prowler' A MAN who looks like Robert Murat tried to climb into the apartment where Madeleine McCann went missing at a ti...

Re: The case as of Today - according to Coldwater

Tigger really should know that SOCA have been involved since day one, when abduction was still the only crime under consideration. As early as May 4th 2007, SOCA's involvement was mentioned in the press: From the Guardian of that date: A Foreign Office spokesman said the Serious Organised Crime Ag...

Re: SOCA involved so looks very promising!

It's no news that SOCA have been involved. Use the Search facility and you will find ten pages of results on THIS site, never mind DS. As early as May 4th 2007, SOCA's involvement was mentioned in the press: From the Guardian of that date: A Foreign Office spokesman said the Serious Organised Crim...
